Hi flowers 🌸 welcome to another blog post. Today, I want to feel like I’ve helped people struggling with mental health. If you didn’t know, I struggle with anxiety. I have struggled with this almost all of my life, and it is a constant battle to bring calm to my environment. If you’re like me and you’re looking for ways to improve your mental health, then just keep reading 📖
1. Make your bed every morning.
This has been helping me every single morning recently. I find that it brings more perspective to my day, and making my bed allows my brain to de-clutter and start a day off fresh. Making your bed can not only organize your room, but organize your life. 🙂
2. Take time to meditate.
Meditation is always talked about as a way to reduce stress, but a lot of people never take time to do it. I encourage it greatly because even a 2-3 minute meditation can help you take a second to breathe, and realize you’re in a safe environment. I’ve been using the app Calm for a while now. It is a great mediation app. It allows you to listen to relaxing music, pick the right meditation for your mood, and even listen to stories at night designed for when you’re going to sleep. It’s available on both android and IOS. Take some time to bring calm to your environment. 🦋
3. Save up some change.
I know some people find it hard to save money but have you ever thought about saving change? It’s the easiest thing. All you have to do is find something to hold your change, and every time you come up with a penny, you stick it in your jar! That way when you’re having a day you are feeling down, or maybe a little anxious you can pull out your change and buy yourself a little treat! 🍪
