Hi flowers 🌸 Welcome back. Since it’s coming to the end of winter, and today is the first day of spring..I wanted to share the story of getting my wisdom teeth out! This happened right after Christmas last year! 😓
Basically, I was told I was going to need three out of four of my wisdom teeth removed. My mom scheduled the appointment, and I began to mentally prepare.
If anyone else is scared of surgery, you will understand how scared I was!! I deal with general anxiety as it is so this was a whole other level for me.
As I got to my appointment, I filled out all the paperwork waiting for them to call my name. When they finally did, I walked into the room and sat down. The nurses did everything they could to make me comfortable while they were starting my IV.
DURING THIS TIME.. THE NURSE STRUGGLED TO GET MY IV IN. SHE HAD TO DO IT A TOTAL OF 3 TIMES!
I was seriously freaking out. I watched my heart rate go up like crazy on the monitor being at 125 before I passed out.
I woke up in the recovery room, and didn’t remember a thing. They gave me antibiotics.
I was so happy to have it be over. I was laying in the bed and my parents came in to say hi and ask me how it went. The nurse kept me there to monitor my heart rate before she let me go.
When I was able to leave, I documented the days that followed through pictures so enjoy below. ☺️
For me, it seemed to last around a week before my mouth fully recovered. If you ask me, I was so scared going on, but it could have been worse.
Overall, I’m happy it’s over! ☺️
